Corporate Workshops and Training Programs

Facilitated by Brid Ni Chionaola

I facilitate workshops and training programs that are designed to develop communication, creativity, vision and collaboration.

In the ever challenging business landscape, organisations need to keep teams motivated and collaborative to ensure success. By applying the self-inquiry method of The Work of Byron Katie ("The Work"), we unlock the potential in individuals and teams by tackling stressful thoughts and self-limiting beliefs head on. The Four Questions and Turnarounds of The Work help people to explore how to maintain perspective in any stressful work situation and to question any thoughts they are believing that would get between them and a co-worker or a project. Here is a short video example of a work-related inquiry and here is an example of a more personal inquiry.

Examples of workshops & training programs
Stressful thoughts in the work environment
Feedback - how to turn it around
Difficult co-workers
Self-limiting beliefs
Clear Communication
Increasing emotional Intelligence
Creative thinking

Benefits of these workshops can include
A more productive and creative work environment.
More friendly and helpful co-workers
Ability to communicate honestly and clearly.
Acceptance and looking forward to criticism.
A clearer view of what's actually happening in a situation - not what we think is happening.

Why choose me for your corporate solutions?
I am a Certified Facilitator of The Work of Byron Katie with over 12 years experience facilitating individuals and groups. I am also a Coach for The Work and a Mindfulness Teacher.  As well as staffing many Byron Katie events in Germany, California and Chicago, I run The Work events in Ireland and the UK, facilitate online courses and events for the Institute for The Work, co-founded and steward The Work Ireland (a community organisation to promote The Work in Ireland) and am a leader in The Work community in Ireland. I have used The Work on an on-going basis in my own life to clarify my thoughts and emotions about co-workers and work situations, among other things. It is my wish to bring this transformative approach out to as many people and in as many settings as possible.

After the workshop, I returned home feeling like my mind had been returned to the original factory settings, so clear was my outlook! It's a very simple method, but the effects have been far reaching and profound. Almost four months later, inquiry and questioning my thoughts has become part of my daily routine. I wholeheartedly recommend it…

The curriculum had a very good variety of exercises. Brilliant tools were given to use The Work in handling “stressful situations” in my life. The trainers were very easy, non-judgmental, non-pushy, confident, calm, supportive… Thanks for a very insightful course.
Elena, Ireland, ITW Online Course Participant 2013

The course was well thought out and presented…. This is ongoing work. I will continue to use what I learned here. I am grateful to Joy and Brid for their openness, availability, and all the work they have done to make this a successful class.
